Took my Granddaughter to see New Years Eve as she just loves Josh Duhamel and, surprisingly, I thoroughly enjoyed it, loads of stars appear in it and it is very entertaining. Good one for the festive season

Good one for the festive season Watched a film on the 'box' last week starring Josh Duhamel and the blonde wench (with the unpronounceable name) from 'Grey's Anatomy'', called something like 'Life as We Know It' the godparents (above) are given guardianship of their charge when the parents are killed in a road accident, it was actually very funny, bet your Granddaughter has already seen it ;D I saw a trailer for 'The Hobbit' this morning, it looks awesome, shame we have to wait until December 2012 to see it.

Yes have seen Life As We Know It and quite enjoyed that too, much better than I thought it would be. The 'blonde' is Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel is one of my Granddaughters favourites, after seeing him in Las Vegas.

Thanks Iris, I really enjoyed 'The Hour' and Dominic West Fingers crossed your book will be a great success, I will check it out on Amazon and althea you have a great holiday in Spain, wish I was there with you Went to see the latest Mission Impossible last week. I am not a great fan of Tom Cruise but do like his portrayal of Ethan in MI and although it was very far fetched (as usual) and the 'plot' was all over the place it was still action packed and I did enjoy it. Next week I am off to see Sherlock Holmes

Went to see 'Sherlock Holmes' a couple of weeks ago, hmmm I'll be interested to see what you make of it. Think I preferred the first one, I actually nodded off a couple of times, ooops senior moment there, only to be prodded awake by dear Wendy!! MR Downey Jnr is one of her particular favourites Saw 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' last Wednesday, it's VERY violent and sexually disturbing, I hadn't read the book, but the film did have an 18 rating, so just be aware if you decide to see it I surely intend to enjoy my break in the sun, away from this cold weather here. If we don't speak before I go have a great Birthday see you in February

I have seen the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the following 2 sequels, plus I have read all three books, must say did enjoy them very much, particularly the books. I will go and see the movie with Daniel Craig and let you know what I think of it plus Sherlock Holmes. TTFN
