Watched 'Being Human' over the weekend, absolutely loved it, intended to watch it gradually but got so caught up in it ended up watching both series one after the other. The second season was a lot 'darker' and 'bloodier' The three main characters did a terrific job especially Aidan Turner's vampire! Also watched the 6 part mini-series 'Empire' again with Vincent Regan as Marc Antony...sorry but for me there is only one Marc Antony and always will be...James all the way, no-one can possibly portray MA like he did and after seeing 'Rome' nothing else comes close Update: Up to Page 145 of 'Pillars of the Earth' ;D

Have finally managed to see 'The A Team' great escapism, loved every minute. Also saw a comedy on the TV called 'The Hangover' - four guys who go to Vegas for a 'stag night' and loose the groom - yeah I know cheesy or what, Mike Tyson even turned up at one point. BUT I now have another cutie to add to the eye candy gallery............ .. Bradley Cooper.

Bradley Cooper is nice but I am not an 'A' Team fan so probably will not go and see that one. I have seen "The Hangover" didn't think I would like it but was pleasantly surprised, thought it was hilarious.
Haven't been to the movies lately, waiting for something good to appear. Taking my grandchildren today to see Cats and Dogs though!! ;D

Hi Kath, I didn't see 'The Hangover' at the cinema cause I though I wouldn't like, but as you said, was pleasantly surprised Went to see 'Made in Dagenham' this week, really enjoyed it a very good film, a sort of cross between 'The Rag Trade' and 'Calendar Girls' Bob Hoskins was very believable as the shop steward ;D Pity some women still don't receive equal pay, after all these years Saw a trailer for 'The Pillars of the Earth' tonight it's due to start on ITV 4 on the 16th October, something to look forward to ;D

Started watching Rufus Sewell, Donald Sutherland, Ian McShane, Matthew MacFadyn in Kenn Folletts 'Pillars of the Earth' last Saturday, it is wonderfull, can't wait for the next episode, by the way Kathy there are eight altogether. Let's hope it is as good as the book, but no doubt 'Straz' will have taken liberties with history ;D OMG just realised I left out (for the Brits amongst us) Sarah Parish from the list of actors, she's one of those actresses who is consistently good.

The series rushes through the story, but depicts everything from the book. Book was and allways are much better than the movie for me.

I was reading over on Richard Armitage's LJ site, that he has been cast as Thorin Oakenshaw in PJ's production of 'The Hobbit' also to add to the eye candy, if we can see who's who through all the long hair and beards - there's Aidan Turner as Fili and Robert Kasinsky as Kili. Morgan Freeman ( Watson in Sherlock Holmes) is Bilbo. Micheal Fassbender's name is shown as 'rumoured' hope he is persuaded to join the cast, along with some of the original characters from the LOTR. .Richard Armitage. .Aidan Turner .Robert Kasinsky Shame we'll have to wait till sometime in 2012 to see this one too Here's the link, so you can read the rest of the article .... popwatch.ew.com/2010/10/27/hobbit-peter-jackson-cast-heartthrob-dwarf/
