I agree because you remember for Sean Connery,he came back to Bond when he was over 50 years old.DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER and NEVER SAY NEVER!

How about we just list the movies that we don't like, and recommend the rest.. Two come to mind... A....The Wedding Tackle B....US TV Sitcom Manchild Personally, I say "never say never" re: James as Bond. Maybe there's be a moving out someday when Bond is 70...gee, I wonder what James is going to look like...hmmmmmmmmmmm good idea, very good idea indeed.for me this would be Cloning of Joanna May,and Frankenstein. Not that I wouldn´t watch everything with James in it at least the parts with him. as to JB,I´m torn between what a wonderful Bond James might still be,and what a lot of money he would get for it on the on the one side, and what this part might do to him and his personal lifeon the other. the films must be made in the style of Connery and Brosnan of course.James would be wasted as a Craig style Bond. I don´t think that the age might be a big issue.Given that Roger Moore was ridicoulus when he played his last Bond at the age of 58,but James is in far better shape,he can get very fit if he has to as SK clearly shows, and he is 12 years younger still.so,if they would start to shoot tomorrow James would still be great,in five years time obviousely not.

James movies I didn't like, not because of James but the movies themselves.
Frankenstein and Manchild (absolutely awful). Calling the Shots and The Wedding Tackle.

I appreciate James, because he is not gorging to Hollywood and g the Bond films are shooting in America, even though it is a British hero. James remains true to Britain and British films like The Patriot, and it is fabulous! Yes, I agree that some movies are not right, but where he appears in those places to light up a movie and the worst! For example,Camelot is not about anything now that James is not playing there anymore! He has perfect admirable physical condition and I would´t guess him almost 50 years!

I love Manchild. I know - it's crude - but I think James shows the isolation and pain behind the borish behaviour in a way that's very moving. I watch it quite often (thanks to Kathy's kind gifting.)
I also love Lighthouse - for the mood and James' delicious character. (But the soundtrack is appalling)
I only managed Frankenstein once, could never watch Resident Evil except in 2X with an occasional freeze frame (he's mighty yummy in that movie).
But I do manage to watch scenes from Blessed and the Wedding Tackle and Maybe Baby over and over again - even though I find all three problematic. Did you know that James is supposed to be playng a dislikeable character in the wedding tackle? It took me three tries to figure that out... He just seems so sweet.
Beau Brummel and Mayor of the Casterbridge are the big guns for me.
So gloriously good in both roles.
Ironclad in just a few weeks. Can NOT WAit!
xoxoxoxoxoxox - love you! Iris
