John Carter opened here yesterday and I was there, oh yes, saw it in 3D too. What can I say, just a brilliant movie with a strong cast, an action-packed fantasy adventure. I guess one of the review headlines sum it up "John Carter' one crazy, mixed-up fun sci-fi romp" Special effects were unbelievable and I just loved the soundtrack. Dominic West was good, as usual, as the 'bad guy' so was Mark Strong and his many transformations, and I loved John Carter's pet 'dog' who followed him everywhere. As for our gorgeous James as Kantos Kan, he was fantastic, as always, and although it was not a huge part he did appear more on screen than I expected so that was a bonus. Liked seeing him and Ciaran Hinds together again, seemed so natural! ;D I guess my only criticism would be that at times it seemed rushed especially at the end, but who cares, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope you all will too. Not to be taken seriously, just sit back and enjoy the ride

I'm hoping to go and see this on Wednesday, saw a trailer for it last week, with James and CH marching across the screen so quickly, I wished I had a rewind button ;D Guess I'll have to wait for that little indulgence until the DVD is released

I was going to post a pic of Woola, the lizard/dog from JC but for some reason I cannot download pics from Imageshack anymore, apparently I need a key, which I got, but still didn't work. Woola is on my Facebook page if you haven't already seen it.

I saw it, and altho its not really my cuppa tea, i liked it! Somehow i missed Polly walker, but did see Posca, and Ceaser! Got all exited when James came on the screen! Loved Woola, reminds me very much of Horace following me around everywhere! How i wished i could jump like Virgina and have two sets of arms and legs!

James had all the best lines of course and the sexiest legs.
