Oh it makes me crazy!!!Like this one... There was a time marketa when I had seen Solomon Kane but no one else here had (I was lucky enough to go to a preview in L.A.) and I was going crazy because I couldn't tell everyone about all his new cool looks with the long hair and beard and tattoos!! But now everyone has seen it and knows... ;D

I love Solomon Kane. Took me a while to find out that the UK version has a James commentary. The german version hasn't. But our cover is nicer! I also love Manchild. A shame it wasn't picked. But my fave on top of all is Rome! Blackbeard is a close second.

Aah, that sucks. Ours has a couple of extras, but no commentary and no deleted scene, so i bought the english BluRay too.

This was indeed an alternative ending - apparently Meredith asking Kane not to leave before he rides off into the sunset. It appears in a 45 minute video diary type film as part of the bonus features on the French DVD. Michael J Bassett filmed both but ultimately dumped this ending as it sort of played into the potential romantic sub-plot that they were trying to avoid. I got the French DVD because I thought the U.K. DVD bonus features (apart from the commentaries and the Cave fight scene) were rubbish - but at least we got some!

I forgot this subject was here! I like Ironclad but Vanity Fair and The Mayor of Casterbridge are films I can watch again and again. Can you class Rome as a movie?

The movie I dislike most is by far Frankenstein.

Although it was a TV series I just can't go past Rome, it's when I first discovered James and is, and always will be, my favourite.
Second on my list is The Mayor of Casterbridge and I also really liked Vanity Fair, The Philanthropist, Injustice and Solomon Kane.
