I am pretty sure some of you have read this quote before. Meredith Crowthorn: How... What are they? Solomon Kane: These? They are the story of my life. See? Some of my own making; these marks and symbols here. Meredith Crowthorn: What do they mean? Solomon Kane: They are for... protection. Others, here, are wounds. Meredith Crowthorn: How were you hurt? Solomon Kane: I've been shot, stabbed and beaten more times than I can recall. These here, was a spear thrust by a tribesman of Africa. Meredith Crowthorn: Africa? You were at sea? Solomon Kane: I was a captain. This is something that is driving me mad for a while. Where does it come from? It´s definitely not in the movie. At least not in the german version of the it. Is it a scene which didn´t make it to the final cut? Where can i see it?

Hi amarys! That quote doesn't appear in the U.K. cut of the film at all. It is also missing from the novel based on the film, although in that version, Samuel asks Kane about his marks, Meredith never does. It might have been a cut scene, but it's also possible that it came from an earlier script draft that got re-written. Unfortunately, as far as I know, no cut scenes have ever been leaked online - and only the cave fight sequence has been released as a deleted scene on DVD - so I guess we will never know.

Too bad! I also miss the scene from the trailer with Meredith in the river.

Yes many scenes miss there but I think amative scenes doesn´t belong to Solomon´s story!Any fall in love to Meredith any religion of love...nothning.Absence of this to do from Ssolomon so extraordinery movie! In Hollywood´s conception Meredith would be with Solomon in a bed ...
