I have just remembered I didn't let you all know what I thought of 'Pillars of the Earth'....I absolutely loved it and was sad when I came to the end of it. The only part that 'bored' me was all the detailed descriptions of the building of cathedrals etc. I must admit I did skip those parts but apart from that, just brilliant, can't wait to see the mini-series. I have just started the sequel 'World Without End' 1237 pages, bloody hell that will keep me busy for a while ;D but I can tell I am also going to really enjoy this one Kath, I've got Pillars by my bedstand, started it a few months ago and just haven't been able to pick it up again. I'm still getting settled into my new place, so am ready to be centered again and reading. Glad to know it's a good read. cheers...
