Yes, you read that correctly. There are two screenings.. One on Saturday 4/24 at 5:45PM Edwards Island Cinemas 4 and one on Sunday 4/25 at 8:30PM South Coast Village. That's two chances to see the film, down near the beach in Newport Beach, California near the end of April. All tickets go on sale April 1st via our website, but the schedule is not posted yet. I'm a programmer for the festival, and started the ball rolling on this one. Heck, it only took 3 months to get it, sheesh. www.newportbeachfilmfest.com/I hope some of you can make it, please shout out if you have any questions.

Great news, so who lives close enough to go see it? I am considering going, even though it's about a 3.5 hour drive for me. But, I might take my boyfriend's son with me, who's 13, if he wants to go...although I will have been down there the weekend before, not sure if I want to drive all the way down there again...

SK was rated as a '15' here, so Jimmy jnr wouldn't have been able to see it, go on you know you want to, James is so worth it

We've got PG (parental guidance) and PG-13 so it would probably be rated PG-13 (13 and up) or if it's an R rating (17 and up) then you can still go with a parent... Oh and yes, I really do want to go and will make the effort if tickets are available...I remember the excitement of going last time! Squeeeeeeeee...

Since it's a Film Festival, and the film has no US Distributor yet, there is no official rating on the film, so there will be no trouble for a 13 year old to get in. And if you have seen it before, then you should be able to judge whether or not he can handle it.
I know it's a bit of a drive for you, so try for the Saturday ticket since it's starts earlier and may give you time to get back home before dawn. ;D
OH, and if you do decide to come, pm me so I can look for you at the screening. I'll be running hither and thither, I usually am during the festival.

The Solomon Kane screenings at the Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday and Sunday this weekend have had to be cancelled due to Michael and his film being stuck in the UK, and unable to fly out to the US in time. Short of a miracle with the volcano Gods, Solomon Kane will not be screening.
